| February 2010 Prayer Focus January 30th – Pastor Steven Hodge, First Lady Shirleen Hodge and the First Family Ro. 1:9 “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers” Continue to pray for our leaders, their children and granddaughter as we end this month. Pray believing for every promise God has made to them and that they are all divinely protected in Jesus’ name! February 7th – Praise & Worship Encounter! Ps. 138:1 “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and truth; for thou has magnified thy word above all thy name.” Pray believing that praise is truly our weapon and we will come to the Encounter ready to receive our tools to go and fight the good fight of faith! February 14th – Marriage Enrichment Event I Cor. 7:38(a) “So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well;” We will always remember to pray for those that are in the Covenant of Marriage. Pray that the power of the Lord God Almighty keep this dynamic duo together in Jesus’ name amidst all opposition, great and small, and that no thing shall come between them. Pray that the married individuals realize the authority that rests in this union and that this union can cause the Kingdom of Heaven to move on their behalf in Jesus name! February 21st – Healing Service John 5:9 “And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.” We are praying for God to allow the anointing that is on our Sr. Pastor to flow during this special Holy Ghost, ordained Healing Service. Pray that the spirit would move in a mighty and supernatural way, allowing not only the sick and infirmed to be healed, whether known or unknown, visible or invisible in this, but also making each individual whole in Jesus’ name! February 28th – Continue to Pray for Haiti Zech. 8:21 “And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also. ” In our prayer time this week let us not forget to continue to pray for Haiti on the aftermath of the devastating earthquake. Keep the country, the people, the children, the culture and the leadership of this country ever before the Lord. For it is God that has the power to change a nation from devastation and ruin to greatness in Him! |
